Now is the time to get your holiday friends or family together to decide where to go and what to do in Cornwall.

Mousehole Sea, Salts and Sail Festival – 1st – 3rd July.

Although it’s not the nearest festival to us, it may be one of the more interesting festivals to visit. Here you can see a fleet of historic and classic vessels congregate at Mousehole harbour, and you can imagine what the area was like in its heyday as an important fishing port on Cornwall’s coast. Of course, live music, local street vendors, cookery demos and so much more will entertain the masses.

Tropical Pressure Festival 15-17 July

The culture, music, and dance of Africa, The Caribbean and Latin America visits the northern town of Porthtown this summer. A family friendly festival there is a crafts area for under 10’s to enjoy, superb workshops and non-stop fun to be had.

Rock Oyster Festival 29-31 July

Calling all foodies to this years Rock Oyster Festival, chef Jack Stein will lead out a phenomenal programme of events including banquets, pop up restaurants and culinary masterclasses. Live music will be provided by the Happy Mondays and Laura Mvula no less, and of course an abundance of oysters shall be consumed!

Victoria Gardens Band Concerts (Sundays May to September)

Not strictly speaking a festival, the Victoria Gardens Band Concerts will take place each Sunday during the summer, where a brass band from Cornwall will perform at this beloved bandstand. All concerts start at 2.30pm for 90 minutes and are free to enjoy. Located in the town of Truro.
