The flat itself was a little challenging to find initially as we drove past it several times having approached the village from another direction due to road closures and only after we turned around and saw it from the other direction we then recognised it from the pictures.

However couldn’t fault it otherwise – self check in was super easy, and the flat was spacious, very quiet and very clean and tidy, with everything thought of and we needed including cooking supplies. A really welcome and kind touch of a fresh loaf of bread, butter and milk was left too on arrival.

Both the main bed and sofa bed were comfy and easily setup too, with linen provided and thicker duvets if required as the cooler nights set in.

Overall a great place for our short stay in Cornwall – thanks for making it an easy and comfortable one! read less – 13 Sep 2019

There is off street parking in front of the flat and the Old Inn is a short walk up the road and serves delicious food at very reasonable prices. St Breward is a 20mns drive to Bodmin through amazing narrow roads and there is also easy access to the A30. The owners had kindly left some fresh bread, butter and milk in the fridge. A very nice touch indeed. The only thing missing was a coffee maker as we do not drink instant coffee although the owners had filled 2 jars with tea and coffee. WiFi is excellent. Just make sure you get the vouchers to log in prior to arrival. We did not have any mobile network at the flat so had to go to the pub to retrieve the vouchers codes !. Recommended flat which can sleep 4 in a small double room and comfortable sofa bed in the lounge. read less – 14 Aug 2018

The host Nick, send us a very detailed description of the check in, and answered fast to our messages.
The only cons are: The house is situated in a small village, and the roads there a very narrow and scary to drive. (Maybe we are also a bit spoiled by the good Danish roads that we are used to 😉 ) Don’t use your GPS – go by the main road through the village St. Bodmin, until you hit B3266.
Also, we missed to have a garden we could hang out in, and eat outside, because the weather was really nice.

But the housing was relatively cheap, so what we got was very appropriate for the price. 🙂 read less – 28 Jul 2018

Self check-in was super easy, and the Wi-fi throughout was good.

The amenities were also very good, with bedding, towels, soap, shampoo, toilet roll, iron and everything a kitchen needs all provided for you.

We had an amazing few days and would not hesitate to recommend this place to other travelers or stay here again myself in the future.

He also gave excellent information on the local sites, places to eat, etc. The apartment was by a stream, which provided nice background noise when we slept with the windows open. The bed was very comfortable, as was the foldout couch. The appliances were new, kitchen well-stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, and the apartment was very clean. The location was off the beaten path if you are coming from the west coast (the only way we approached), but was only perhaps 10 minutes from Camelford, the nearest larger town. I felt very safe there. Nick provided coffee, bread, butter and milk. St. Breward has a pub, but it doesn’t open until noon (or at least that was the case on Sunday), so breakfast isn’t an option in town if you want something more substantial. You would need to go to Camelford.

Before you go, make sure you download the AirBnB app to get the wifi password from the check-in instructions, as it is not included in the notebook Nick provided in the apartment and cell service is rather weak, making it difficult to download the app once you get there. We noticed a musty odor when we first arrived, but that mostly dissipated once the apartment had a chance to air out.
