Even if we do say so ourselves, us folks in Cornwall really know how to think outside the box! We just had to tell you about this amazing event happening very near to us here at the Cornwall Holiday Retreats in Bodmin next month. If you are a movie fan, read on!
A unique cinematic experience awaits you in the depths of the earth, where a season of classic films has been shown in the amazing Carnglaze Caverns. The last remaining show will be shown on the 23rd October, the all-time crowd pleasing “ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW”. This former slate mine which is a huge part of Cornwall’s industrial heritage will be transformed into an amazing cinema venue to tantalise all your senses. A word of warning though, as the Caverns are underground we would suggest that you dress for the winter where the temperature remains at a constant 10C. A good jumper and waterproof footwear are recommended.
Tickets are on sale from https://www.undergroundcinemas.co.uk/whatson and Carnglaze Caverns are only 12 miles from our self-catering accommodation in Cornwall.
